(Pulmonary Arterial Pressure)
Brisket Disease or High Altitude Disease, has long been important for cattle at elevations over 7000 feet, but we believe there are more cases showing up to indicate it’s importance at any altitude. PAP testing is a way to show cattle that are less likely to have these problems, and likely to pass that trait on to their offspring.
Dr. Tim Holt has been PAP testing our bulls for nearly 20 years. Feel free to contact us for more information on PAP testing and how we use it in our program.
